To echo the Government's "Space Sharing Scheme for Youth" initiative, Tung Wah had launched "The Oasis Youth Co-working Space" located at The Rays, 71 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong in February, which offered over 100 fixed and hot desks to support young entrepreneurs and start-ups with wide range of leasing options and training and supporting services. Industries of social enterprise and social innovation who endeavors to tackle social problems through innovative methods are targeted occupants of the scheme.
Since its establishment, The Oasis has successfully organized various training activities and facilitated connections between different units in the government, business, community, and educational sectors in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, providing comprehensive support for young entrepreneurs. In March 2021, TWGHs launched the "Igniting Dreams - Youth Entrepreneurship Programme," which offers start-up funds for young people and has helped many aspiring entrepreneurs turn their start-up dreams into reality.
Drawing on years of experience in providing youth start-up services and operating co-working spaces, TWGHs opened its second co-working space, "TWGHs TAI SANG LAND DEVELOPMENT LIMITED THE GRAND OASIS CO-WORKING SPACE," in May 2023, to cater to the needs of youth entrepreneurship and align with the objectives of the Government's "Youth Development Blueprint."
Over 10 years of preparation, Holistic Centre for Youth Development "Tung Po" has been completed. On March 5th, 2023, the worship ceremony was held to wish the center a smooth development and become a landmark for nurturing the holistic development of young people in arts, culture, and sports.
